Your new role

For those located in Toronto, this role will be fully remote with very little travel required to Montreal.

  • Manage purchase and sale transactions (single assets/portfolios)
  • Perform due diligence (title/off-title)
  • Oversee sale/leaseback transactions
  • Participate in development and redevelopment projects
  • Handle complex real estate transactions, including property development, commercial leasing, and other transactional matters


What you'll need to succeed

  • 7 to 15 years of experience in transactional real estate law
  • Proven experience in mid-market real estate transactions ($30M-$200M)
  • Membership in the Bar (Ontario or other Canadian bar; Quebec bar is a plus but not mandatory)
  • Experience in a prestigious law firm
  • Leadership capabilities to mentor junior lawyers
  • Experience in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on closing deals and addressing key business issues
  • Nice to have: Bilingual (French)
