You know you can make a real difference within our company?You might be our ideal candidateWhat you gain by joining our team:The opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that listens to your needs;A competitive salary and plenty of advancement opportunities based on YOUR interests;Unlimited training through our mobile app;Team events and health and wellness programs;The opportunity to build a position that matches your skills and expertise.Sounds great, but what does a day as a Health and Safety Advisor look like?Participate in the development of activities related to the prevention of accidents and workplace injuries on construction sites in the Halifax area;Apply health and safety standards and requirements in the construction industry;Identify hazards related to job positions, processes, and equipment in order to develop safe work procedures, when required;Implement appropriate tools to raise awareness, train, engage, and advise on the importance of prevention;Intervene when an accident risk arises;Investigate following an accident or incident;Apply prevention programs and safe work methods;Conduct site tours and inspections to ensure compliance;Perform monthly compliance audits on construction sites in the Halifax area;Participate in the drafting of site-specific safety guidelines;Maintain a strong relationship of trust with all stakeholders.What you’ll need:At least 3 years of hands-on experience on construction sites (mandatory);Education related to occupational health and safety or equivalent experience;Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the construction industry;Bilingualism (French and English required);Be dynamic, motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively;Be autonomous, detail-oriented, persistent, and a strong team player;Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and good stress management;Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite;Strong writing skills.One meeting with us and you’ll be won over________________________________Tu sais que tu peux faire une différence au sein de notre entreprise? Tu es peut-être notre candidat(e) idéal(e) Ce que tu gagnes si tu te joins à notre équipe:La chance de faire partie d’une équipe dynamique et à l’écoute de tes besoins;Un salaire compétitif et une multitude de possibilités d’avancement selon TES intérêts;Des formations à volonté grâce à notre application mobile;Des événements d’équipe et des programmes de santé et de mieux-être;La possibilité de te forger un poste à la hauteur de tes compétences.C’est bien beau tout ça, mais une journée de travail en tant que conseiller(ère) en prévention, c’est quoi?Participer à l’élaboration des activités relatives à la prévention des accidents et des lésions professionnelles sur les chantiers de la région d’Halifax; Appliquer les normes et exigences de santé et sécurité du domaine de la construction; Relever les dangers reliés à des postes de travail, à des procédés, à des équipements afin d’élaborer des procédures sécuritaires de travail, s’il y a lieu; Mettre en place des outils adaptés afin de sensibiliser, former, impliquer et conseiller sur l’importance de la prévention; Intervenir lorsqu'un risque d'accident se présente; Enquêter à la suite d'un accident ou événement; Appliquer les programmes de prévention et méthodes de travail sécuritaires; Effectuer des tournés et inspections dans le but d'assurer la conformité; Effectuer des audits de conformité mensuellement sur les chantiers de la région d’Halifax; Participer à la rédaction de consignes de sécurité propre au chantier; Maintenir une bonne relation de confiance avec les intervenants. Ce dont tu auras besoin :Un minimum de 3 années d'expérience concrète sur des chantiers de construction (obligatoire);Études en lien avec la santé, sécurité ou expérience équivalente; Connaissance des lois et règlements applicables dans le domaine de la construction; Bilinguise (français et anglais obligatoires); Être dynamique, motivé, organisé et avoir une bonne gestion des priorités; Faire preuve d’autonomie, de rigueur, de persévérance et d’esprit d’équipe; Bonne communication, capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes, bonne gestion du stress; Maîtrise de la suite Office; Bonnes capacités de rédaction.
