You will report to the General Manager and be responsible for timely dispatch operations and driver coordination to ensure safety and compliance. This position requires adept problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. Your dispatch experience in the transportation sector will aid in effectively managing routes, scheduling maintenance, and addressing customer needs.
Key Responsibilities: • Dispatch drivers promptly to assigned routes • Provide customer service and coordinate special events • Report incidents and manage operational standards • Ensure all runs are timely and document reports • Assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance
Requirements: • Experience in dispatch within transportation • Strong communication skills in English • Proficient with MS Office for report management • Valid Ontario G license and clean abstract • Good knowledge of Ottawa's geography
