The Assistant Restaurant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless customer service and high operational standards. Responsibilities include managing food and beverage service, supervising staff, maintaining customer satisfaction, and hiring and training team members. Additional duties involve leading team meetings, managing schedules, and ensuring a positive dining experience for customers through adherence to brand standards and values.QualificationsFast food service experience required; Tim Hortons managerial experience preferred.·      Assist to manage, coach, and hold team members accountable in compliance with Canadian and Ontario employment and labour laws·      Ensure all required training is completed successfully (online and in-person)·      Support to maintain required certifications, including First Aid, SafeCheck®/ServSafe®, and Tim Hortons OMAP programs·      Achieve performance targets set by the Restaurant Owners, including but not limited to:o  Quarterly REV auditso  Labour cost control within target rangeo  Waste reduction and inventory managemento  Speed of Service, Restaurant Operations, and Customer Service standardso  Global Performance Score and Senior Leader Bonus program objectives·      Ensure full compliance with all policies and procedures outlined in the Restaurant Policy Handbook·      Set and communicate a clear vision and mission while providing the team with the tools and support needed to succeed·      Deliver exceptional food and beverage quality while maximizing guest satisfaction and sales·      Ensure all products are prepared in accordance with Tim Hortons standards, recipes, and equipment operating guidelines·      Plan, schedule, organize, and manage shifts efficiently to meet business needs·      Evaluate employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve productivity and engagement·      Ensure compliance with all sanitation, food safety, and health & safety regulations·      Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, professionally, and accurately·      Assist to recruit, onboard, train, coach, and discipline a diverse team to maintain Tim Hortons’ high operational standards·      Monitor and control operational costs while identifying opportunities to reduce waste·      Contribute to enhance the restaurant’s positive image and reputation·      Promote the brand within the local community through events, initiatives, and word-of-mouth engagement·      Recommend and support marketing initiatives such as promotions, discounts, and social media advertising·      Train new and existing team members on proper guest service standards and procedures·      Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive work environment through open communication and strong leadership·      Oversee inventory receiving, ordering, audits, and controls to meet or exceed Tim Hortons metrics·      Be fully trained in all restaurant positions (front-of-house and back-of-house) to provide coverage and operational support as needed·      Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required·      Lead by example in a fast-paced environment, supporting guest service and order taking when necessary·      Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed, including accurate counting, auditing, and reconciliation of tills, floats, and daily deposits·      Perform additional duties as required to support restaurant operations
