The Job
As the Portfolio Administrator, you are essential to efficient operations. You will:
- Support Portfolio Managers with various tasks and requests
- Coordinate and set-up client meetings
- Provide office services support
- Assist with client documentation and filing
- Maintain client information, data, and files
- Conduct follow-up on unresolved matters
- Coordinate and distribute quarterly statements and year-end tax reports
- Other tasks as assigned
What you bring to the job
You are confident and assertive but also personable and collaborative. You take your performance seriously and aspire to build your own book of business one day. You also have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- 3-4 years of experience in a client-facing role in banking/financial services
- Aspirations for a career in investment/portfolio management
- An entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness, and confidence
- An exceptional ability to influence others and inspire collaboration
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive with little guidance
- A sense of independence as well as flexibility to work cooperatively and collaboratively
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with top-earning clientele
- Computer literate
