Asana seeks a skilled Security Engineer with expertise in threat detection and response. You will be pivotal in protecting our systems while fostering security across cloud and SaaS environments. This role requires a strong engineering background and comfortable coding capabilities for automation in security operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead detection and response across AWS, GCP, and Azure • Investigate security incidents in cloud and SaaS platforms • Build and maintain detection-as-code infrastructure • Optimize SIEM and EDR tools for enhanced security • Conduct threat hunting for proactive risk management
Requirements: • 7+ years in security operations and incident response • Proficient in Python and familiar with JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience with CI/CD and software supply chain threats • Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms like Panther • Familiarity with digital forensics and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
