Position Summary 1VALET is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice‑President of finance to lead the financial strategy of a high‑growth, fast‑scaling technology company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP finance will oversee financial planning, corporate governance, risk management, and compliance while ensuring financial health and profitability. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with deep experience in corporate finance, M&A, financial forecasting, and investor relations. This role is an opportunity to shape the financial future of a proptech industry leader. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Growth Leadership Develop and execute a financial roadmap aligned with 1VALET's growth objectives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring long‑term sustainability. Establish profitability benchmarks and optimize capital allocation strategies. Provide financial insights and leadership to exceed business performance targets. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure compliance with ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP accounting standards. Oversee audit functions, governance policies, and internal controls (ICFR). Monitor business risks, liabilities, and financial exposure, implementing mitigation strategies. Stay informed on federal, provincial/state, and international regulations to ensure compliance. Operational & Fundraising Leadership Lead financial IT system implementation (ERP, NetSuite) to improve scalability. Identify and secure funding opportunities (IRAP, CanExport, government grants). Conduct business performance analysis, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and revenue growth strategies. Deliver detailed financial reports and earnings summaries for stakeholders and board members. Leadership & Organizational Impact Provide strategic financial leadership to senior management, external partners, and investors. Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance and accounting team. Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting frameworks. Act as a change agent, implementing innovative financial solutions to support business expansion. Requirements and skills / Profile sought 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a high‑growth technology, SaaS, or startup environment. CPA designation required, strong expertise in multi‑national accounting and structuring. Demonstrable knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP. Proven track record in financial forecasting, risk management, and fundraising. Strong executive presence with excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience managing multi‑functional finance teams in a dynamic environment. Ideally bilingual (English is mandatory, French is an asset, Spanish is a plus). Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is an asset. Leadership & Growth Potential This Vice‑President of Finance position has full leadership responsibility over 1VALET's financial operations. Description sommaire 1VALET recherche un Vice‑président des finances expérimenté et visionnaire pour diriger la stratégie financière d'une entreprise technologique en forte croissance et à l'échelle rapide. Relevant directement du PDG, le VP des finances supervisera la planification financière, la gouvernance d'entreprise, la gestion des risques et la conformité tout en assurant la santé financière et la rentabilité. Le candidat idéal sera un leader pratique avec une expérience approfondie en finance d'entreprise, en fusions et acquisitions, en prévisions financières et en relations avec les investisseurs. Ce rôle est une opportunité de façonner l'avenir financier d'un leader de l'industrie proptech. Principales tâches et responsabilités Stratégie financière et leadership de croissance Développer et exécuter une feuille de route financière alignée sur les objectifs de croissance de 1VALET. Superviser la budgétisation, les prévisions et la planification financière, en assurant la durabilité à long terme. Établir des critères de rentabilité et optimiser les stratégies d'allocation de capital. Fournir des informations financières et un leadership pour dépasser les objectifs de performance de l'entreprise. Gestion des risques et conformité Assurer la conformité avec les normes comptables ASPE, IFRS et US GAAP. Superviser les fonctions d'audit, les politiques de gouvernance et les contrôles internes (ICFR). Surveiller les risques commerciaux, les responsabilités et l'exposition financière, en mettant en œuvre des stratégies d'atténuation. Se tenir informé des réglementations fédérales, provinciales/étatiques et internationales pour assurer la conformité. Potentiel de leadership et de croissance Diriger la mise en œuvre des systèmes informatiques financiers (ERP, NetSuite) pour améliorer l'évolutivité. Identifier et sécuriser les opportunités de financement (IRAP, CanExport, subventions gouvernementales). Réaliser des analyses de performance commerciale, identifier les opportunités de réduction des coûts et les stratégies de croissance des revenus. Fournir des rapports financiers détaillés et des résumés des résultats pour les parties prenantes et les membres du conseil d'administration. Leadership et impact organisationnel Fournir un leadership financier stratégique à la haute direction, aux partenaires externes et aux investisseurs. Diriger, encadrer et développer une équipe de finance et de comptabilité performante. Améliorer les processus et renforcer les cadres de reporting financier. Agir en tant qu'agent de changement, en mettant en œuvre des solutions financières innovantes pour soutenir l'expansion de l'entreprise. Habiletés et compétences pour exceller dans le rôle / profil recherché Plus de 15 ans d'expérience progressive en leadership financier, idéalement dans un environnement technologique à forte croissance, SAAS ou startup. Désignation CPA requise, forte expertise en comptabilité et structuration multi‑nationales. Connaissance démontrable des normes ASPE, IFRS et US GAAP. Antécédents prouvés en prévisions financières, gestion des risques et levée de fonds. Forte présence exécutive avec des compétences excellentes en communication et en leadership. Expérience dans la gestion d'équipes financières multifonctionnelles dans un environnement dynamique. Idéalement bilingue (l'anglais est obligatoire, le français est un atout, l'espagnol est un plus). Expérience avec les systèmes NetSuite ou ERP est un atout.
