The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client in West Africa are working together to source experienced and qualified talent to join their team.


The Role

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English, have prior experience in gold processing plants, have the ability to operate and maintain CIL circuits and equipment, and possess strong communication skills to transfer knowledge to local plant personnel. Please note this is a 3-month contract.


The Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) circuits and associated equipment in a gold processing plant.
  • Ensure optimal gold recovery and efficiency by controlling and adjusting CIL operations as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of CIL equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Transfer operational knowledge and best practices to local plant personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of CIL operations and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other plant personnel to optimize overall plant performance.


The Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English
  • Previous experience working as a CIL Operator in a gold processing plant.
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of CIL circuits and associated equipment.
  • Knowledge of gold processing techniques and metallurgical processes.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to gold plant operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting process flow diagrams and equipment manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
