Senior Program Manager

• The candidate would be part of my Risk and Control team who would coordinate and manage Data Concerns/Quality Issues, Internal/External Audits and Corrective Action Plans across Prime Services organization.
• We are looking for someone who has 8 or more years of Project/Program Management experience
• Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Has experience in collaborating/working with cross-functional teams i.e technology, operations, production support & business
• Expert in Jira, Confluence and PowerPoint presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs
- Drive multiple projects simultaneously requiring the ability to multi-task
- Understanding Business priorities and working as a liaison between Business and Development teams
- Track/monitor day-day project status changes and prioritization changes
- Executive reporting on project statuses and roadmaps for technology and business partners and sponsors
- Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and, requires basic commercial awareness
- Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to dening standards
- Manage expectations and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
- Install a culture of continuous process improvements by applying lessons learned from recent projects to future projects
- Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time, and risk
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of experience
- Understanding and exposure to Data Quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skill, business user interaction, issue management and status update
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and work with business users
- Significant exposure to structured project management techniques and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Expertise on Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint presentation, Confluence, JIRA
- Experience managing and delivering complex technical projects
- Strong technical background, experience with Software Development Lifecycle and experience managing stakeholders in a global and dynamic environment
- Strong listening, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to influence a wide range of audiences and gain consensus among staff
- Superior planning, organization, project management and analytical skills as well as attention to detail
- Ability to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment

- Proactive and self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
