We offer:Work-life harmony with access to an award-winning holistic wellness program,Continuous learning through our robust corporate curriculum and education reimbursement program,Incredible rewards, travel incentives, and product and service discounts,Pay-for-performance and best-in-class recognition programs, andCompetitive benefits that include a defined contribution plan, personal spending account, and more.Join our growing team where everyone belongsWhat you will do:Review and approve incoming vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical competence.Provide scope review and seek clarity from vendors on estimates; negotiate costs with vendors/contractors.Offer dispute-resolution services on estimate reviews related to the CAA member, vendors, and the Insurance company.Advise Property adjusters when exceptions are encountered.Coordinate appraisal resources to ensure assignments are dispatched efficiently.Participate in industry events and various special projects for the claims department's benefit, as identified from time to time.What you have:1-3 years of experience in building construction as a project manager or senior property adjuster with an insurance carrier.Working knowledge of XACTANALYSIS platform and XACTIMATE software.Familiarity with building codes and hazardous material exposure management.Relevant post-secondary education complemented by a CIP designation or working towards one.IICRC Fire and Water restoration certification (asset).Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Advanced technical knowledge of property damage analysis.Advanced negotiation skills and investigative logic.Please note that internal applicants should formally express their interest by applying online within 10 business days of the position being posted.Our CommitmentWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment accommodations in accordance with all applicable Provincial Human Rights and Accessibility Legislation.
