Our client is a prestigious law firm based in Downtown Toronto, seeking a diligent Tax Litigation Lawyer to join their esteemed team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in tax litigation cases, negotiate settlements, and manage all aspects of the case from intake to resolution.
  • Provide strategic advice and aid in planning to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Draft, review and revise legal documents and memorandums.
  • Carry out comprehensive legal research to support cases.
  • Streamline procedures to ensure the efficiency of tax collection and compliance with the law.


Required Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • A minimum of 2 years' of post-call experience in tax litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and provincial tax laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Propensity for providing superior client service.
