At EXP, we are seeking a qualified Senior Cost Estimator in Transit & Rail. This role demands over 10 years of estimating experience in the construction field, particularly for large-scale transportation programs. Your focus will involve close collaboration with design and project management teams to generate accurate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed construction cost estimates from concept to procurement • Develop quantity takeoffs and assess labor, materials, and equipment costs • Maintain detailed documentation including assumptions and exclusions • Organize estimates to align with client requirements • Review design documents for potential cost risks and gaps
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field • 10+ years of construction estimating expertise • Strong knowledge in transit and rail projects • Experienced in bid analysis and negotiations • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
