Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.We are currently seeking a qualified Software Verification Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products in the safety critical domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in circuit design, analysis and testing of electronic products.Job Type: Full TimeLocation: Mississauga, ONWorking Arrangement: HybridResponsibilitiesParticipate in the software verification of safety critical graphics driver softwareReview C code for adherence to coding standards and guidelinesCreate high level test casesReview low-level requirements for adherence to requirements checklistsWrite written test procedure documents in EnglishDevelop test procedures into C-code based tests.Implement code fixes to address findings from code reviewsDocument test resultsParticipate in customer stand up meets, progress meetings.Basic QualificationsExperience with C programming language.Experience with DO-178.Experience performing code reviews.Experience in software verificationExperience with DOORS, RTC and JIRA.Experience writing test procedure and test scripts and executing test codes.Experience performing unit testing.Proficiency in using GIT and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013.Good working knowledge of software testing methodologies and profiling tools.
