The Electrical Engineer position is at their new Miramichi Ave location, in Bathurst, NB.

Applicants must be a licensed professional engineer in New Brunswick (P.Eng).


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical substation and switchgear engineering expertise and guidance to the project engineering team.
  • Develop electrical engineering conceptual designs for new substation products and projects.
  • Provide instruction to the engineering team, including designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Lead project teams to continually improve and exceed expectations.
  • Confirm work is performed in compliance with IEEE, CSA and applicable standards.
  • Manage product drawing review and approval process.
  • Prepare contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.


Education and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer in New Brunswick.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, including electrical power distribution, substation protection and control, and switchgear.
