Who we're looking for:

  • Post-graduate training in at least two (preferably three) trauma informed models including: IFS, EMDR, SEP, Sensorimotor, NARM, AEDP, Cognitive Processing Therapy or Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)
  • 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming/cultural awareness
  • Interest and experienced in work with first responders or veterans
  • Willingness to build up to at least 10 hours of service per week
  • Passionate about systemic change and anti-oppressive practice
  • Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth as part of a team
  • Interest in engaging in professional collaboration and peer support as part of a community of practice
  • Interested in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy (we're willing to train)


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or a related discipline
  • Registration with a professional college in Ontario and permitted to engage in the controlled act of psychotherapy (ie. Registered Social Worker, Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Clinical Psychologist)
  • At least 3 years experience providing trauma focused psychotherapy


Other Assets:

  • Experience and/or training in providing counselling to first responders or veterans
  • Training and experience in clinical supervision and interest in supervising interns and recent graduates
  • Expertise in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, OCD or another area that is complementary to the current scope of our team
  • Qualified and interested in providing clinical supervision to MSW or MACP interns
