Are you a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst with a passion for email and web campaign validation? Join our Digital & Direct Executions team within the broader Marketing organization and play a crucial role in leveraging customer data and insights to deliver meaningful communications to our customers.


As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be deeply involved in the end-to-end email and web page development process, ensuring that every aspect of email development and customer journeys is thoroughly validated. You will lead QA/QC efforts across various email and web campaigns, working closely with Project Managers, Email Developers, and Campaign Developers to validate the end-to-end email and web page artifacts. Your role will involve:


  • Executing Tests Against Standards: Evaluate emails and web pages against quality standards, raise issues, and support issue resolution. Execute sign-off of email and web page development.
  • Communicating Standards & Documentation: Communicate quality standards and parameters to team members. Document required checklists and reference documents.
  • Defect Analysis: Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in email content, web pages, and content.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and analyze recurring issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, recommending and facilitating solutions.
  • Feedback Review: Review client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Test Strategy Development: Translate functional and technical requirements, creative briefs, and wireframes into corresponding test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Management and Development staff through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Testing Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of devices, tools, and accounts required to execute email and web page testing.


Who You Are

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a relevant role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in email/web development testing.
  • Functional testing of emails, websites, and mobile applications using various tools, emulators, browsers, and devices in both English and French.
  • Knowledge of QA techniques and processes through a marketing campaign or software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Workfront) and automated email testing tools (e.g., Litmus or Email on Acid).
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Bonus: Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email and CloudPage studios.
  • Accessibility Testing: Experience with accessibility testing to ensure product conformance to the Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) 2.0, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and web accessibility best practices.
  • Quality Focus: Ensuring every piece of work is delivered defect-free and with the highest possible quality.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Possesses a continuous improvement mindset to enhance checks, reduce errors, and improve overall email development quality.


Must-Have Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in email/web development testing.
  • 2+ years of experience with Litmus or Email on Acid (Saucelabs optional).
  • 2+ years of experience in functionally testing emails, websites, and mobile applications using various tools, emulators, browsers, and devices in both English and French.
  • 2+ years of experience with Jira/Workfront/Monday.com.
  • 2+ years of experience with accessibility testing.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in the banking industry.
