This isn’t just a processing role—you will be the go-to subject matter expert and mentor for our payroll team. Your day-to-day will involve:Leading the Team: Mentorship and supervisory-level direction for the payroll department.System Ownership: Managing and optimizing our payroll systems (SAP/SuccessFactors).Compliance Excellence: Ensuring all provincial and federal regulations are met, including EHT and WCB for multiple provinces.Financial Accuracy: Handling year-end balancing, G/L entries, and complex reporting for bonuses, vacation, and sick pay.Stakeholder Partnership: Acting as the primary liaison between payroll and senior leadership to manage expectations and provide insights.What You BringExperience: 3+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency with SAP and SuccessFactors (these are strong assets).Expertise: Solid knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations across multiple provinces.Education: Completion of payroll courses; working toward or holding a Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation is highly preferred.Communication: The ability to explain complex payroll data to non-payroll stakeholders with clarity and ease.How to ApplyIf you are a detail-oriented payroll professional ready to take the next step in your management career, click Apply below
