SALARY: Annual Salary of $58,240 - $72,800 depending on education and experience. NATURE AND SCOPE:Responsibilities include assisting with managing all aspects of TFN infrastructure initiatives within the Tsideldel Community. This includes internal and external initiatives that result in providing quality community housing and community / commercial use spaces while adhering to Tsideldel values fairness and respect. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:The O/M Manager responsible for assisting with work pertaining to public works and infrastructure related activities within the Tsideldel First Nation (TFN) Community that includes but is not limited to: operation and maintenance management, collaboration on housing initiatives, custodial management, maintenance, fleet activities, and any other activities involving all TFN assets and infrastructure.SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT1. Prepares and administers approved budgets for the O/M Department.2. Tracking and reporting of O/M expenditures, and analysis of costs for use in future planning.3. Purchases supplies and services required to fulfill the duties of an annual workplan and in accordance to applicable TFN Policies including asset management.OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT1. Develops, implements, monitors operation, maintenance and repair programs for all building systems, user equipment and all inside and outside building components to meet or exceed minimal code standards / regulations and in compliance to facility policies. This includes preventive maintenance, work orders, and history costs.HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT1. Hires and Onboards O/M staff in accordance to TFN policy.2. Supervises and manages overall staff training and development for the O/M Department.3. Evaluates performance of employees on a continual basis.PROJECT MANAGEMENT/COORDINATION1. Plans schedules and implements cyclical maintenance, access and safety projects.2. Fully participates in the specification, tendering and award of contract work including infrastructure construction project management and equipment and vehicle purchase agreements. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS TO DEVLOP1. Professional Degree or diploma in management, or other related designations to the position an asset.2. Skills, education and experience in skilled trades and /or construction project management an asset.3. Experience and knowledge in building maintenance management.4. Demonstrated interpersonal, managerial, leadership, financial and technical skill-sets.5. Good writing and verbal communication skills.6. Knowledge of financial practices and budgeting procedures.7. Understanding of contract management, methods, and legal procedures as pertinent to field related projects.8. Strong computer technical capabilities.9. Valid Class 5 Drivers License
