Associate/Locum Opportunity in Plastic Surgery


The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for William Osler Health System is inviting applications for a full-time associate staff position starting in July/August 2024, and a 3-6 month Locum position starting July 2024.


The candidates will join a team of seven plastic surgeons providing comprehensive care in Brampton and Etobicoke and both will provide care primarily based out of Peel Memorial Centre and Brampton Civic Hospital. William Osler Health System is one of Ontario’s largest community hospital organizations delivering a wide spectrum of reconstructive, trauma, elective surgical services, and a breast reconstruction program. The candidate will join a highly collegial team of surgeons with equitable division of on-call duties. Regional on-call rotation is 1 in 8 with on-call stipend provided at 100%.


The successful applicant will have an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing community hospitals offering innovative research opportunities, access to cutting edge technology, and supportive physician wellness programs. The candidate must hold an independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Additional Fellowship training is an asset.


As an affiliated academic community teaching site for the McMaster University Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine: Family Medicine program and a key clinical partner for the new School of Medicine with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), there is ample opportunity to participate in clinical education with medical students and residents.
