We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in building applications, code rewrites, and migrations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Python development (not scripting) and experience working in containerized environments (e.g., Docker). You will collaborate with business teams, review and rewrite existing code, and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements from scratch.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on development in Python, building applications from scratch, code rewrites, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with the business team to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Review, develop, and enhance code in a containerized environment.
  • Work on migrating existing code to Python.
  • Build applications using the Dash library for Python.
  • Read and understand C# .NET code to assist in migration (no prior .NET experience required if eager to learn).


Must-Have Skills:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on development experience in Python (not scripting).
  • 5-10 years of experience in C# .NET development (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience working in a containerized environment (e.g., Docker).
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Experience building applications with Dash (a must).
  • Knowledge of banking industry standards in Canada.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in full-stack development.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment, even if lacking extensive .NET experience.
