We are currently hiring for an Instrumentation Technician in Rocky Mountain House, to join a local rapidly growing Oil and Gas company.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment, including emission monitoring instrumentation.
  • Conduct installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of protective relays, metering systems, and control systems across gas turbines, generators, and plant auxiliary equipment.
  • Utilize pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices along with precision measuring instruments to inspect and troubleshoot instrument and system operations.
  • Install process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and control valves.
  • Perform mechanical tasks related to instrument repair and modification, including small piping and tubing installation.
  • Rebuild and calibrate transmitters and control valves, and fine-tune controllers.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities and maintain comprehensive test and maintenance records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation.
  • Completion of 5 years of technical training or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified as a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician.
