We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Millwright – Automotive Manufacturing.Join a high-performing automotive manufacturing facility where your mechanical expertise will keep production lines running smoothly, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the chance to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that directly contributes to producing high-quality automotive components.Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, replacing or repairing components as required.Install, align, and maintain machinery, conveyors, robotics, and other plant systems.Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.Maintain accurate maintenance logs in a CMMS.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.Mandatory Requirements:Valid Industrial Millwright (433A) license.Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Commitment to workplace health and safety protocols.Preferred Requirements:Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing facility.Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and robotics.Welding and fabrication skills.Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Location: Hamilton, OntarioSalary Range: $42/hr, RRSP, 3-Weeks VacationIf you are interested in learning more about the Millwright – Automotive Manufacturing job opportunity please submit your updated resume to jen@itecgroup.caWe are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect and equal opportunity.
