Contract Opportunity: Part-Time Project Manager (PACS Migration)📍 Remote: ~75% (occasional onsite based on project needs) 🕒 Schedule: 2–3 days per week (approx. 0.4–0.6 FTE)We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-phase PACS/VNA migration project. This role will coordinate planning, execution, and stabilization activities, ensuring alignment across Radiology, IT, clinical teams, and external vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead large-scale migration planning and execution (data extraction, validation, cutover, post–go-live support).Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Manage project budgets (hardware, storage, licensing, vendor services).Coordinate communication across Radiology, IT, clinical operations, and executive stakeholders.Maintain project documentation (plans, RAID logs, migration trackers, status reports).Technical ExpertisePACS/VNA architectures, HL7, DICOM, IHE profiles.Data migration methodologies and cybersecurity compliance (PHIPA/HIPAA).Integration with RIS, HIS, and Epic systems.Clinical Workflow KnowledgeRadiology workflows and cross-departmental imaging processes.End-user adoption strategies and training plans.Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong vendor management and negotiation skills.Problem-solving under pressure (cutover weekends, system instability).Effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams.DeliverablesMaster project plan, RAID log, budget tracking, vendor alignment tracker.Migration validation reports, cutover playbook, training materials.Regular status reports and executive dashboards.
