We are currently seeking a Process Engineer & System Owner with experience supporting downstream systems (clarification and purification) in pharmaceutical manufacturing to join our team


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review and/or approve design documentations associated with process equipment operation, including drawings, specifications, narratives, datasheets, layouts, etc.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions between Owners, stakeholders, and/or external vendors to drive decision or deliverable
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise, including operation philosophy, narrative, risk mitigation, industry best practices, etc.
  • Review and/or approve vendor documents (e.g., testing documents, specifications, P&IDs, etc.)
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise during commissioning of equipment
  • Support C&Q scopes, equipment troubleshooting, documentation review and approval
  • Complete system handover to the next phase of the project
  • Support NCs, change controls, deviations as they arise on the project


Key Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, preferably in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 2-years of experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing and understanding of automated / integrated production equipment systems,
  • Minimum 1-year experience working with downstream systems; previous experience with centrifuges would be ideal.


The ideal candidate would:


  • Have experience in commissioning and qualification of equipment and processes
  • Have experience managing customers, vendors and contractors with minimal supervision/guidance.
  • Possess high problem-solving capabilities with ability to address arising issues and make technical decisions within normally established guidelines with minimal supervision from management.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive.
