Senior MidTier Specialist

Job Type- Contract Full time, 12 months.

Location - Hybrid -Ottawa, Ontario

We are looking to hire a Senior MidTier Specialist for our public sector client.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in root-cause analysis; develop and implement permanent solutions to problems; and establish mechanisms to monitor, track and report on service levels using metrics and restore services.
  • Contribute to all middleware initiatives required for platform maintenance and evolution
  • Implement configuration management for middleware infrastructure
  • Identify causes and implement solutions to more complex/uncommon business problems in a multi-functional setting, assessing, and communicating issues of technology impact on the functional/corporate level

Requirement

  • A minimum of five 5 years demonstrated experience with Oracle WebLogic Application Server
  • Demonstrated Middleware experience
  • Demonstrated ability to organize effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in installation and configuration of Oracle Fusion middleware, Oracle Internet
  • Directory and SOA Suite
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM MQ
  • Demonstrated experience of OpenShift version 4.x
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Azure ARO, AKS
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM DataPower, IBM DataStage, and/or JBOSS
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM WebSphere Portal
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux/Unix administration
  • Demonstrated experience working with J2EE application server such as IBM WebSphere or Redhat JBoss EA
