Position Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Copywriter/PR Specialist to join our marketing team. As a Copywriter/PR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling content and managing public relations efforts to enhance our brand's reputation and visibility. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and goals, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategies.
  • Create and edit engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, blog posts, social media, newsletters, and website copy, that captures the essence of our brand and resonates with our audience.
  • Develop and execute PR strategies that align with our brand objectives, including managing media relations, coordinating with journalists and media outlets, and organizing press events.
  • Formulate concepts for advertising campaigns that resonate with our target audience and stakeholders, aligning with marketing objectives.
  • Maintain marketing assets by organizing documents, assets, and content in an exceptionally organized fashion.
  • Utilize tools and platforms to monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for content and PR strategies.
  • Ensure all written materials align with brand guidelines and project requirements, maintaining a consistent and professional tone.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in public relations and copywriting within the automotive or security industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in copywriting and public relations, preferably in the security, automotive, or technology industries.
  • Prior experience working at a US or Canadian company is required.
  • Strong proficiency in content creation and PR tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
