Nurse Practitioner (Hospitalist Program) – Term Specific, Part-TimeInterior Health Authority is hiring a term-specific, part-time Nurse Practitioner to work as part of an interdisciplinary inpatient care team in Kamloops, British Columbia.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect clinical care for a designated group of inpatients, collaborating with Hospitalists, General Practitioners, and Nurse Practitioners.Plan and coordinate short-term and long-term patient care, including transitions of care.Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration for diagnosis, treatment, and health promotion activities.Prescribe medications within scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.Lead, educate, and supervise other nursing and healthcare personnel.Participate in research, quality improvement, and health system policy development.QualificationsRegistered Nurse with advanced practice education and certification. Experience in inpatient or hospital setting preferred.
