A reputable professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its advisory practice. This role offers the opportunity to take on a leadership position within client engagements, contribute to strategic tax planning, and support the development of junior team members. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of clients across industries, including both private companies and publicly listed entities, while working on complex tax planning, reorganizations, transactions, and indirect tax matters.What You’ll DoLead client engagements across diverse sectors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.Collaborate with partners on tax planning initiatives and advisory projects.Oversee and review the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.Conduct tax research and present findings clearly to clients and internal teams.Provide tax compliance and planning support to a broad client base.Mentor and guide staff members, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.Support business development activities by identifying opportunities and building relationships.Recommend ways to improve efficiency and team performance.Effectively manage time across multiple projects and deadlines.What You BringCPA designation (required).Minimum 5 years of current or recent experience in public accounting or professional services.Advanced tax training (CPA In-Depth Tax Course or Master’s in Taxation) completed or near completion.Strong technical knowledge of both tax compliance and planning.Excellent client service skills and the ability to understand business needs.Proven organizational and project management abilities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex tax matters.Strategic thinker with motivation to grow into senior leadership.Experience preparing or reviewing complex tax memorandums is an asset.Why JoinThis is a great opportunity to advance your career in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
