General Manager – Lafleche Credit Union (LCU) Join our mission to serve rural communities in Saskatchewan. Responsibilities Championing Our Story: Serve as the chief advocate for the “cooperative difference,” ensuring our value and community impact are understood by members, staff, and the next generation. Leading Continuous Change and Adoption: Provide hands‑on leadership across key initiatives and projects; identify and mobilize the right resources to source, manage, and collaborate with vendors and partners. Cultivating a Tight‑Knit Team: Foster a culture of engagement, development, and knowledge transfer within our small, highly dedicated team. Driving Financial Stewardship: Manage the credit union’s financial health to sustain growth, profitability, and long‑term sustainability. Navigating the Agricultural Economy: Apply deep knowledge of agricultural lending and the local farm economy to serve our core membership. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive, hands‑on experience within a credit union, with significant expertise in lending, operations, and retail banking. Post‑secondary education in Finance or Business Administration. People‑centered leader with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to communicate and engage with various stakeholders. Deep understanding and hands‑on experience managing and growing an agriculture lending portfolio and serving the financial needs of an agriculture community. Demonstrated experience overseeing core system projects, vendor partnerships, and strategic projects and initiatives. Proven ability to build strong working relationships with Board of Directors and regulatory authorities. Active participation in and support for community engagement.
