Locum Hospitalist

OverviewSechelt Hospital is seeking full-time and/or part-time Locum Hospitalists to provide 24-hour MRP medical services to acute care medical patients, with an opportunity to join the group as a permanent member. The focus of this role includes the admission of new, unassigned, and unattached patients through the Emergency Department (ED); comprehensive patient rounding and stabilization at the end of the day; and responding to urgent, non-code calls for patients admitted to the site. Successful applicants will join a new group of Hospitalists and participate in an on-call rotation, which is approximately 1-2 on-call shifts with 5-7 day work weeks.
