Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Alation Developer to join Capgemini FS I &D . The ideal candidate will be responsible for Alation's implementation, configuration, administration, and integration. This role requires expertise in Alation Analytics, Metadata Extraction, Query Log Ingestion, and admin configurations. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background in AWS, Python development for data wrangling and integration, and a broad understanding of data governance functions. Knowledge of Collibra and NiFi is a plus.



Primary Skills and Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in configuration, administration, and integration of Alation.
  • Install and configure data sources in Alation as a server Admin.
  • Proficiency in Alation Analytics.
  • Configure Metadata Extraction and Query Log Ingestion.
  • Compose and execute queries.
  • Perform admin configurations.
  • Experience with AWS from a data perspective, including IAM, ECS, RDS, S3, etc.
  • Ability to develop Python scripts for data wrangling and integration.
  • Broad understanding of data governance functions.
  • Prior experience working on Alation as an implementation and integration engineer.
