Position: Azure / IAM Security Consultant (Microsoft Entra ID /Azure AD)Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Job type: 12-month contractOur client, a leading organization in the utility sector, is seeking an experienced Azure / IAM Security Consultant (Microsoft Entra ID /Azure AD) to support and enhance their identity and access management (IAM) capabilities across a large hybrid environment. This contract role reports to the Manager of Infrastructure & Operations and plays a key part in strengthening cloud security, maturing identity governance, and enabling secure access across the organization.What You'll Do:- Configure, support, and optimize cloud-based IAM solutions with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).- Implement and improve Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, RBAC, and identity lifecycle processes.- Collaborate with security architecture, cloud engineering, and operations teams to design secure identity solutions.- Support incident response and troubleshoot identity-related issues across Azure and hybrid environments.- Maintain and enhance IAM documentation, policies, and technical procedures.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation workflows, and governance enhancements.What You Bring:- 5+ years of IT experience with a focus on IAM, cloud security, or security operations.- Strong expertise with Azure AD / Entra ID, identity governance, and authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).- Experience in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments; utility/OT/SCADA exposure is an asset.- Familiarity with security standards such as NIST, CIS, and cloud security best practices.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Azure Security Engineer, Identity & Access Administrator) are an advantage.Why This Role Matters:You'll play a key role in securing cloud identities and supporting a major utility organization as it advances its cloud maturity, modernizes IAM, and strengthens its security posture.Please send your resume in Word format to Ankita Ankita Chowdhury at ankita.chowdhury@quantum-qtr.com.REFER A HIRE AND EARN $1,000 For more details, click here.
