Underwriting TraineeLocation: In-Office on-site - Kingston officeEmpire Life is looking to hire two Underwriting Trainees to join our Retail Underwriting teamThis is an ideal role for someone passionate about launching a long-term career in the world of underwriting . As a trainee, you will learn the "ins and outs" of the insurance industry through a blend of self-study and hands-on experience, providing a foundation that will allow you to grow and thrive in this specialized field. You will be actively involved in the underwriting process from day one—analyzing medical history, financials, and other risk factors to make sound decisions on live cases.The selected candidates will work under the moderate supervision of the Manager, Underwriting, transitioning from hands on learning to more independent risk assessment by the end of the program.
