The CISC seeks an experienced President & CEO to guide its mission in the steel construction sector. With a focus on collaboration and advocacy, you will report directly to the Board of Directors, ensuring operational excellence and fostering relationships within the industry. Strong communication skills and a passion for steel are essential as you connect with government, businesses, and academia.
Key Responsibilities: • Advocate for steel use in Canadian construction • Develop and promote a compelling vision for the industry • Lead stakeholder engagement and collaboration efforts • Liaise with the Board of Directors as an advisor • Drive innovative strategies and transformative initiatives
Requirements: • 15+ years in leadership roles across relevant fields • Experience in public policy and association management • Strong background or knowledge of steel/construction • Exceptional communication and motivational skills • Willingness to travel regularly for industry advocacy
