Summary:

The main function of a Datacenter Construction Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing Datacenter projects of >$50M value.

The successful candidate will be experienced and knowledgeable in the fields of mechanical and electrical construction and commissioning.


Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

La principale fonction d’un gestionnaire de construction de centre de données est de planifier, diriger ou coordonner des activités dans des domaines tels que l’ingénierie, la recherche et le développement, les systèmes financiers et le déploiement de produits, etc. Le candidat retenu aura de l’expérience dans la gestion de projets de centre de données d’une valeur supérieure à 50 millions de dollars. Le candidat retenu sera expérimenté et compétent dans les domaines de la construction mécanique et électrique ainsi que de la mise en service.


Responsabilités professionnelles :

• Coordonner les projets, élaborer des plans détaillés pour atteindre les objectifs et diriger l’intégration des activités techniques.

• Présenter et expliquer les propositions, les rapports et les conclusions aux clients.

• Recruter des employés, leur attribuer des tâches, évaluer leur travail et superviser le développement et la maintenance des compétences du personnel.

• Analyser les besoins technologiques, les ressources et la demande du marché pour planifier et évaluer la faisabilité des projets.

• Collaborer avec le personnel de la direction, de la production et du marketing pour discuter des spécifications et des procédures des projets.

• Examiner et recommander ou approuver les contrats et les estimations de coûts.
