Our client's Tax group provides an exceptional opportunity for its associates to develop strong legal and client-services skills through its highly sought-after tax planning and advisory work.

The group offers impressive capabilities in M&A transactions, capital market transactions, real estate, private equity, investment funds, financing, transfer pricing, commodity tax and employee benefits. The group also has significant experience dealing with tax audits and disputes with tax authorities. Their Tax Associates get the opportunity to work with some of the top lawyers in Canada and some of the most prominent Canadian and international companies.


Our client is now looking to add a strong mid to senior level Tax Associate to join the Vancouver office of its preeminent national Tax practice.


Qualifications and Attributes:

  • 3 - 7 years of post call experience as a Corporate Tax Lawyer from a reputable firm
  • Keen interest in Tax and relevant experience at a large firm or a smaller Tax-focused firm.
  • Completion of In depth Tax Course or LLM in tax
  • Strong technical skills in Tax planning
  • Advisory experience
  • Team player;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Qualified to practice law in Canada
