BGRE is seeking an experienced Director for its hyperscale data center project in Edmonton, AB. This role demands exceptional leadership in construction management, with responsibilities including overseeing the GC/EPC, validating construction progress, and coordinating resources. Candidates should have a strong background in mission-critical construction management and a track record of overseeing large data center projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the senior onsite construction leader • Validate construction cost forecasts and performance • Lead tenant fit-out coordination and integration • Manage procurement and vendor evaluation processes • Plan construction-related activities around Alberta's winter conditions
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering disciplines • Minimum 10 years of construction leadership experience • Strong understanding of data center construction processes • Proven risk management and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience with commissioning and energization protocols
