Lead capital projects and building systems as Facilities Manager at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino near Edmonton International Airport. Manage a complex, high-impact property portfolio.
This Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Facilities and works with executive and racing leadership. The position oversees multi-million-dollar assets, major projects, vendors, contracts, and operational readiness. It requires facilities management experience in a complex, multi-use environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee capital projects, timelines, budgets, vendors, and contracts
- Manage HVAC, electrical, janitorial, and snow removal systems
- Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
- Lead departmental budgeting and long-term planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance with contractors and local authorities
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of hands-on facilities management experience
- Experience in a complex, multi-use environment
- Knowledge of building codes, health and safety, and compliance
- Ability to manage priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Commercial project management or trades background is advantageous
