Reporting to the Parts & Service Manager, the Shop Clerk plays a key part in keeping shop operations running smoothly. The Shop Clerk will manage work orders from start to finish, support preventative maintenance scheduling, coordinate with technicians and suppliers, and handle essential administrative tasks that keep equipment and workflows on track.Primary Scope of Role:Create, follow and close both internal and external work orders.Review regular maintenance schedule of equipment, as per GPS data and inform shop if maintenance required.Enter technician daily job notes in accounting software.Scan and upload all paperwork to appropriate work order.Create purchase orders and place orders with suppliers.Assist Shop Management with administrative duties.Assist Shop Management with preventative maintenance and repair scheduling.Position Requirements:High school diploma.Valid Drivers License.Experience in parts management is an asset.Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of parts & equipment.Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.What We OfferExpected Base Wage: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
