Our client is an engineering-focused solution provider of machined castings, fabrications, and assemblies supporting numerous industries and they are currently recruiting for a Project Supervisor for their Stratford Plant. What is critical for them is that you have experience as a Project Supervisor or Manager where you oversaw manual welding lines

Minimum Requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • In depth knowledge of process improvement tools, product design techniques, mechanical drawing standards and GD&T
  • Prior experience as a Project Supervisor or Manager where you oversaw manual welding lines
  • Knowledge of Lean techniques
  • Ability to travel if required.

Responsibilities

  • Offers technical leadership to guide cross-functional engineering teams in developing and releasing all necessary engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with the product development process and/or customer expectations.
  • Ensures the creation and maintenance of engineering timing plans, defect/issue lists, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
  • Leads a team tasked with designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, or facilities.
  • Ensures operational excellence through efficient plant design.
  • Drives continuous improvement in processes, cost efficiency, quality, and production.
  • Oversees all engineering projects and addresses engineering challenges.
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of various concepts, practices, and procedures in the fabrication field.
