What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking a technician with 2+ years of experience installing card access systems and CCTV systems in commercial properties.Experience with fire panels and burglar alarm systems in residential and commercial settings is an asset but not required.Qualifications:Proficient in cabling: install, fish, dress, cross-connect, and terminate UTP, coaxial, and fibre cablesExperience with Honeywell, Ademco, and DSC systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license with a clean abstractAble to pass a criminal background checkComfortable using tools and working at heights (ladders, lifts)Physically capable of lifting 50–70 lbsKnowledge of safety standards and local/national codesAbility to work independently and provide excellent customer serviceComputer literate with networking skills and knowledge of operating systemsResponsibilities:Install, service, and test electronic security systemsTroubleshoot software and networking issuesTest equipment, connections, and signalsInstall video systems and digital camerasConfigure and program DVR unitsParticipate in on-call rotationProvide cost estimates for installation and maintenanceMaintain and repair intrusion alarms, intercoms, and automatic door operators (asset)What we offer:We offer competitive wagesCompetitive benefits packagea company vehicleWork with a collaborate teamInterested?Please email your resume to cathy@security.ca, kpadua@onyx-fire.com and kathleen@security.ca
