Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Fit Technician to ensure that our garments meet the highest standards of fit, quality, and construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment fitting and a deep understanding of technical design. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that every piece we produce meets our stringent quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate garment samples for fit, construction, and overall quality.
  • Conduct fittings on live models and mannequins, providing detailed feedback and recommendations for adjustments.
  • Collaborate with designers, and production teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in fit and sizing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed fit and construction standards for all product categories.
  • Communicate fit comments and revisions clearly and effectively to vendors and factories.
  • Ensure that all garments adhere to company specifications and customer expectations.
  • Participate in fit sessions and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal fit and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of fit comments, approvals, and any necessary changes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in garment fitting and technical design.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fit Technician or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and technical design.
  • Excellent understanding of fit and grading standards.
  • Proficient in using fit forms and conducting fittings on live models.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating fit and construction.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or certification in fashion design, technical design, or a related field is preferred.
