DevOps Specialist

  • Duration: 6 months contract, potential to extend
  • Client: Top 5 Bank
  • Location: Hybrid, 1 day/week in office Downtown, Toronto

Job Description:

We seek a skilled and experienced DevOps Eng with a strong background in banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Salesforce Administration and a solid understanding of banking operations. In addition to Salesforce expertise, familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure Administration, Autosys, and Windows environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the Salesforce platform to support various banking processes and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, customize Salesforce functionalities, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, approval processes, and other platform components.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce by implementing best practices and security protocols.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to users on Salesforce features and functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other banking systems and applications.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to optimize platform performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing software development projects and deployments.
  • Familiarity with Azure Administration for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience with Autosys for job scheduling and automation.
  • Working knowledge of Windows environments and server administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other CRM platforms or banking software solutions.
  • Certification in Azure Administration or related cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
