Third Party Risk Manager

Our client is currently hiring a full-time experienced Third-Party Risk Manager (TPRM) to lead supplier risk assessments, strengthen onboarding processes, and support compliance with regulatory standards. In this role, you will evaluate new and existing third-party relationships, work collaboratively across multiple functions, and help drive a risk-aware culture throughout the organization. This role requires you to bring deep experience in due diligence, strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, and the ability to influence process improvements.Location: Toronto, ONJob type: Permanent | Full-timeSalary : $120K-$140KResponsibilities:Improve upon on-boarding and regular assessments process, including tracking of cycles and reporting statusWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g. InfoSec, Assurance, Privacy, etc) to ensure appropriate compliance with all regulatory requirements as part of the due diligence reviewConduct assessments for new and existing third-party relationships, focusing on areas key risk areasEstablish and maintain a risk register to document, track, and report on identified risks and mitigation strategies.Train internal stakeholders on third-party risk management policies, tools, and best practices to foster a risk-aware culture.Provide input to governance and reporting processes, clarifying accountability and ensuring leadership is informed of key risks and compliance issues.Implement process improvements to supplier onboarding procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments.Manage the end-to-end supplier life cycle with COE Procurement Peers and StakeholdersQualifications:Extensive experience performing third-party due diligence assessments.CTPRP certification (or equivalent TPRM certification).Project management qualification or significant project management experience.Strong understanding of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks, such as OCC, OSFI, and FAC.Industry certifications such as CTCRP, CTRPA, ABPMP, FCIPS, CIPS, CPSM, or Six Sigma.Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.Extensive experience with risk assessments and/or Third-Party Risk Management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Are you interested in this position?
