Credit Analyst

Are you an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a passion for credit management and financial systems? We're seeking a Credit Specialist to join a growing Finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing credit risk, managing credit limits, and supporting automation and reporting initiatives that strengthen financial operations across North America.Our client is a long-standing leader in the logistics and trade management industry, helping businesses move goods efficiently across borders. The organization is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to innovation, and focus on delivering exceptional customer service.What You'll DoConduct credit reviews for new and existing customers using financial analysis and risk assessment tools.Recommend and maintain credit limits and payment terms based on customer profiles and market conditions.Review and manage customer credit agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regional regulations.Maintain and update credit data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement (CE/CRM) platforms.Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of credit workflows across ERP and CRM systems.Support automation and reporting initiatives using Power BI and Excel-based analytics.Partner with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, including credit vetting and documentation.Liaise with banking partners and accounts receivable insurance providers to maintain accurate credit profiles and ensure proper coverage.Provide timely documentation and updates to support credit insurance renewals and claims.Monitor customer payment behaviour and proactively address delinquencies or credit risks in coordination with internal teams.Deliver regular reports to the VP of Finance on credit exposure, customer risk trends, and portfolio performance.Use data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.What You BringPost-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or credit designation an asset).3+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit management, or accounts receivable within a corporate environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, CRM systems, and advanced Excel skills.Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with the ability to interpret financial data and assess risk.Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and with external partners.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis or a related financial role.- Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other ERP systems for credit data management.- Strong knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques.- Experience with Power BI and Excel for data reporting and analytics.- Familiarity with CRM platforms and their application in credit management.- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across departments.- Proven ability to manage customer credit agreements and ensure regulatory compliance.- Demonstrated expertise in identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
