Sales Project Manager

Sales Talent Group has been retained by a global company to conduct a search for a full-time Sales Project Manager.

The client is a leader in the space and satellite industry. This Sales Project Manager role will support customer sales and related marketing activities within the market intelligence business. This role is accountable to sell and promote the market intelligence reports to space agencies and satellite manufacturers worldwide. Our client is looking for an ambitious professional who is interested in a sales career in the space and satellite industry. No previous industry experience is required. Our client does not expect applicants to be experienced in all areas of this role, except for the ‘must have’ qualifications noted below. Guidance and training will be provided to help adapt your skills to this role, especially in the sales process. Over time, our client will support the successful applicant to develop within the company and specialize their skills.


This junior role is based in Montreal, QC, Canada. It is a full-time role, with company benefits. Three days are required onsite in the office and two days can be remote. The role reports to the Senior Sales Manager.


Accountabilities:

  • existing and new customer requests: new orders, proposals, administrative processes, etc.
  • maintenance: update and keeps accurate contact/account/sales information
  • identify opportunities to grow sales, propose and implement specific actions
  • the preparation of sales marketing campaigns through email and social media
  • Nurture existing customer relationships
  • about the contents of the different products and services
  • with other departments for administrative processes, customer support, etc.


Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably a recent graduate from administration, finance, marketing, commerce, or other related programs.
  • in English (read, write and spoken)
  • with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, and Outlook
  • to work in the Montreal office 3 days per week and 2 days can be remote

Professional Experience (not mandatory):

1-2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, finance, or administrative positions would be a plus.
