Loc: Willingdon Avenue, British Columbia
The CCH Datacenter has transitioned to a new managed services provider. Projects have been completed to separate it from the broader Fraser Health system, ensuring best practices are followed. As the new provider takes over operations, additional tasks and tools need to be deployed to align the datacenter with Fraser Health's future strategies. The applicant will help implement these tools as part of the project.
Reporting: the PM datacenter Projects will report to the Senior PM Architecture and Infrastructure
Service required:
Project Management Services
Project leadership for the development and implementation of a series of solutions as defined by Director of Technology and Architecture
Establishment and reporting on a project plan for the identified solutions
Working with service provider to develop and implement the proposed solutions
Establish and execute communications plan to affected stakeholders
Stakeholder Communication:
Establish effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, datacenter managed service provider, and project team to keep them informed about the status of ongoing events, transition activities,
Coordinate regular meetings, status updates, and workshops to address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure alignment.
Technical Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the IT team and the new service provider to ensure a seamless transfer of data, systems, and applications.
Oversee the testing and validation of the new infrastructure, ensuring its compatibility with existing systems and addressing any technical issues that arise.
Change Management:
Develop change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance to the transition.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition and maximize productivity in the new data centre environment.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish performance metrics and monitor the new service provider's adherence to SLAs and agreed-upon service levels.
Generate regular reports and provide updates to senior management, highlighting project progress, risks, and achievements.
