As Director of Software Engineering, you will oversee our fullāstack software functionāspanning our application team and data team. Youāll lead engineering execution while also contributing directly to architectures, automation, and AIādriven enhancements that raise the bar for performance. You will sit on the executive team, helping guide the direction of the company. This isnāt a typical middleāmanagement role. Weāre looking for someone who coaches, architects, and accelerates. This role is ideal for someone who is both a technical leader and a strategic operatorāready to architect systems, mentor talent, and push the entire team to the next level. What Youāll Do š” Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across application, data, and embedded software domains š Lead and grow a highāperforming, multidisciplinary software team š» Review and contribute to POC code, automation scripts, and performance tooling š§Ŗ Drive adoption of modern AIādriven tools to boost team velocity, quality, and clarity š¤ Bridge the gap between our SaaS platform, data pipelines, and IoT/edge products š Collaborate with the GM and executive peers to align engineering strategy with business outcomes š Constantly evaluate tools, frameworks, and methods to drive quality and efficiency š Act as a coach and technical mentor to engineers and team leads Who You Are š Technically deep, with a passion for building scalable systems and guiding architecture decisions š¼ A thoughtful leader who grows people through mentorship, challenge, and clarity š¤ A strategic thinker who understands tradeāoffs, priorities, and how to deliver value fast š§° Comfortable across the stack: frontāend, backāend, data, edge/IoT, ML integration š Strong communicator who can connect engineering initiatives to broader business goals š¦ Curious and excited to bring AI into the teamās toolbox to increase velocity and reduce friction Requirements 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ in technical leadership roles Strong architecture experience across SaaS platforms, data pipelines , and embedded/IoT systems Handsāon coding skills in modern languages (Python, TypeScript, etc.) Experience working with AI/ML , automation tools, and dev productivity accelerators Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow engineering teams in fastāpaced environments Track record of collaboration with product, data, and executive stakeholders Why Join Us? š Leadership seat on the executive team of a fastāgrowing startup š Real ownership across teams, systems, and strategic decisions š Work with realāworld data, cuttingāedge tools, and impactful products Ready to Apply?
