We believe our growth and success can be directly attributed to the emphasis we place on service, quality, and innovation and the involvement, commitment, and enthusiasm of our employees. We are currently looking for MAINTENANCE SUPPORT to join our BURLINGTON team.  This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will be responsible to help maintain systems and equipment by completing corrective maintenance and execution of preventative and predictive maintenance schedules. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environmentResponsibilitiesHelp drive the preventative maintenance plan to achieve maximum equipment efficiencyContinually educate and familiarize oneself with the plant system and functionsConduct work functions by using safe work practices and proceduresSupport Production through timely resolution of mechanical breakdownsExecute mold changes and colour changes to ensure schedule adherenceHelp to monitor, track, and improve key performance indicatorsProper recording of work orders and part consumption to maintain departmental spare parts inventoryPromotes continuous improvement and takes advantage of cost reduction opportunitiesCompletes preventative maintenance tasks in a timely fashionMaintain a clean and safe workplacePerform other related duties as assigned, or as the situation dictatesPhysical DemandsRequired to stand for long periods of time (duration of shift)Involves repetitive motions for duration of shift; use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment; Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containersDue to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions Must be able to carry, push, pull or lift up to 50lbs occasionallyAdaptable to relative sound pressure levels Requirements/QualificationsAdequate mechanical troubleshooting skillsMust be willing to work all shiftsMust be willing to wear PPE while performing functionsAbility to work overtime as business needs requireAbility to lift moderate weight intermittentlyExcellent communication skills: written, electronic and oralMust have strong attention to detailMust be capable of working in stressful situations in times of needMust be able to work well with others and in a team atmosphere As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to submit a clear Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to start date.We thank you in advance for your application, however only successful candidates will be contacted. Precision Record Pressing is committed to and supports diversity and inclusion practices.
