Senior Information Technology Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for a long-term position, starting with a 6-month contract, in Calgary, Alberta. This position is 100% on site, downtown. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Role DescriptionOur client has a lot of software implementation, security and cloud initiatives on their roadmap so having some knowledge and experience in that would be helpful, but not mandatory. They want a solid Project Manager that fits within their culture. Here are some of key characteristics they are looking for:8+ years of experience as an IT Project ManagerLeadership – creates a collaborative team atmosphere and has the ability to drive the project forwardTime, cost and scope managementAble to lay out a solid plan and budgetWell defined, documented and transparent scope is managed through the projectEnsure the plan is communicated effectively and being adhered toCosts are managed and monitoredStakeholder managementUnderstands and executes proper stakeholder assessments and engagements; involving them in the project at the appropriate timesStakeholder relationships are a priority to ensure buy-in and project successChange and CommunicationBuilds and executes on solid change management and communication plansEnsure our organization is prepared for the changesExperience in the Oil and Gas industry is a strong assetSoft Skills:Hard-working and willing to take on challenges as well as self-starter that takes initiative when it comes to completing all necessary tasksAble to work in a team environment as well as independentlyCan deal with some ambiguity and less structureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPlease note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.InSync Systems Inc. is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.
